A monthly fantasy webcomic about memories, loyalty, and the consequences of being given a sword as an adolescent.
I first started this webcomic in the summer of 2022, but I've been working on this story ever since I was 10. There's been a lot of ups and downs, and there's so much more I have to learn, but the joy of seeing this story develop into actual comic pages really keeps me going.

An eight-page comic about being a child of immigrants.
I was inspired by Fantasy is a Metaphor for the Human Condition by Erin Roseberry -- particularly how she illustrated her experiences with post-concussion syndrome through the genre conventions of traditional fantasy media. In this comic, I wanted to explore the my feelings about moving away from my hometown through the genre of the isekai, which is a common anime trope in which the protagonist is transported into an unfamiliar world, typically containing fantasy elements.
This comic was published in Lunchbox Magazine, Volume 3, Issue 1: Echoes. You can read the comic here.

I've been playing with these characters for a few years, but never developed them into a full story. Thank you so much to my writers and artists -- they have helped so much in creating an amazingly captivating world.
